Gold Coast Section
The APA Florida Gold Coast Section is pleased to announce the opening of its 2024 Project Awards Program application cycle. This awards program provides the section with the opportunity to recognize outstanding planning work created in and for Miami-Dade and Monroe counties at our annual Awards and Holiday Celebration Event - this year scheduled for Nov. 14.
The program provides Gold Coast Section members with the chance to see and learn about conservation, development, environment and other projects, where planning has had a positive impact. The Awards Jury members will be reviewing submittals for their innovativeness, quality, and potential for replication/scalability.
Eligible planning projects are those completed within the last two years in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
All award applications must be completed by 5 pm on Friday, Oct. 28.
An entry fee of $50 for APA members, $75 for non-APA members is required per submittal.

#305 Cafecitos
The APA Florida Gold Coast Section will host an online series this year: #305 Cafecitos and the Brown Bag Lunch Series.
The #305 CAFECITO SERIES, which are 15-minute engagements for our community to come together and listen to a 5-minute presentation on a relevant local topic followed by a 10-minute discussion.
It's just like bumping into peers at the office. It's meant to be a Cafecito at our own ventanita - so the idea is to keep it short n' sweet! We know we all got to get back to our busy schedules.
