The position involves professional work in the land use and transportation field for the development and implementation of the County Land Use Plan and Trafficways Plan. The applicant prepares land use plan and trafficways plan amendments; reviews projects for compliance with the land use plan; reviews plats; collects and analyzes data; and prepares recommendations to the Planning Council. The applicant must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimum oversight.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited four-year college.
