The City of Delray Beach seeks a Planner to join the Development Services Department under the direction of the Development Permit Manager. This position primarily supports the Department as the Planner On-Call for walk-in inquiries and phone calls. Other primary duties include zoning review of building permits for compliance with the LDR and consistency with approved development applications and analysis of variance requests for presentation to the Board of Adjustment. Opportunities include site and landscape plan review and inspections, application of green building ordinances, and flood plain review.
