Nassau County, located in Florida’s historic First Coast region, is seeking a Senior Planner. Nassau is a fast-growing county that prides itself on innovative planning practices. New administration has brought forth an exciting vision for the County inclusive of an approach to planning that values place-making, sustainability, and an inspiring built environment in which all can live, work, and play. General responsibilities include reviewing development applications in multiple master-planned areas, performing site development review, evaluating and formulating land use and transportation strategies, conducting policy research, analyzing elements of the Comprehensive Plan, and preparing written analyses and presentations of development applications and proposals.
