The Assistant Planning Manager is a highly responsible administrative and professional position, focusing on managing planning/zoning functions, financial tracking, and coordinating the implementation of St. Lucie County’s Impact/Mobility/Multi-Modal Fee programs. This role assists the Planning Manager with overseeing both current and long-range planning projects and collaborates with the Department Administration to oversee and report on the County’s economic incentive programs. The position requires professional judgment and coordination with various County departments/divisions, other local governments, and regional and state agencies. Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with developer agreements between the County and private developers. This position works under the direction of the Planning Manager.
