Planning Intern | Summer 2025
(40 hours a week)

Locations: Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Boston, Atlanta, Durham
We are currently seeking a Planning student for our summer Get Inspired Internship in several offices. Do you have a passion for designing great places, safe streets, and thriving communities? Is collaboration an integral part of your design process? Inspire is an interdisciplinary collective of planners, landscape architects, and designers in support of public and private sector projects throughout the Southeast.

Our Planning team has a particular focus on the following project types:

• Comprehensive Planning
• Land Development Code Writing
• Community Redevelopment Planning
• Economic Development
• Small Area Plans  

We’re looking for a student currently enrolled in an AICP accredited Urban/City Planning degree program who has the following qualifications:

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with professionals from different disciplines and levels of experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe CC experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• GIS experience preferred
• Organized, innovative, and ambitious
• Commitment to learning new skills, programs, and processes
• Able to take constructive feedback and make quick and efficient edits
• Some travel may be required
