We are a high-level land development company. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Ordinance Analyst to support our sales and GIS teams in identifying signage opportunities and ensuring compliance with city and municipal regulations.
Job Summary:
As an Ordinance Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to review and interpret municipal ordinances related to out-of-home advertising. You will identify potential and interpret sign codes, communicate with city officials to confirm feasibility, and work closely with the sales and GIS teams to ensure that opportunities are properly understood and actionable.
Key Responsibilities:
•Research & Analysis: Read and interpret city ordinances, zoning regulations, and policy related sign codes.
•Opportunity Identification: Pinpoint potential areas for signage or development within ordinance parameters.
•Communication: Regularly communicate with city officials to confirm interpretations of ordinances and verify.
•Documentation: Organize findings in an easily digestible format for the sales team to understand potential new advertising areas.
•Collaboration with GIS Team: Work closely with the GIS team to provide summarized insights, helping map out correct locations for potential advertising.
•Reporting: Create clear and concise reports summarizing opportunities, regulations, and compliance requirements for the sales and management teams.
Qualifications:
•Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret legal documents and ordinances.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Proficiency in organizing and presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
•Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams, including sales and GIS.
•Familiarity with zoning regulations and city planning is a plus but not required.
•Previous experience in research, legal, or regulatory compliance roles is an advantage.
