The City Planner provides professional planning support for the City’s current planning and Comprehensive long range planning operations. Essential duties are to review and make recommendations on rezoning and special use applications, review plat applications, review site development plans for compliance with codes (form-based and conventional zoning), subdivision regulations, the comprehensive plan, and Florida Statutes. The planner also performs site visits and inspections, conducts research, and provides back up support to the senior planner in answering general inquiries about zoning.
