The purpose of this position is to perform advanced professional work in urban design, zoning, land use and site planning.  The position focuses on managing and amending the Comprehensive Plan. Assisting with analysis for development applications related to traffic concurrency and historic preservation. Serving as the department liaison to Broward Planning Council and the School Board of Broward County.  Additionally, this position holds a major role in the development and implementation of the NW Area Master Plan, the Central City Corridor Master Plan, the County Land Use and Rezoning Initiative and the cities Vision Zero program.
