This position is in the Development Services Division of the Regulatory & Economic Resources Department. The Zoning Administrative Review Section Chief will oversee commercial and residential development applications not subject to public hearings. These applications involve the administration of complex, form-based design standards in the zoning code that have typically resulted from public participation processes where the community has come together and formed a blueprint for its future growth. These include some of the most significant projects that have a long-lasting impact on our community, such as those in the rapid transit zone and urban centers. The Chief will be responsible for managing the following programs: Administrative Site Plans; Administrative Modifications; Substantial Compliance Determinations; Shoreline Review Board; Workforce Housing; Geographic Information Systems; Rapid Transit Zone; Charrette Plan Implementation; Urban Center Zoning Code Amendments; and Webpage Oversight.
