Senior Planner

The Senior Planner is responsible for performing statutory program reviews of submitted local government comprehensive plan and plan amendments, 298 District Water Control Plans, Campus Master Plans, DRI, and Sector Plan applications, amendments, and related documents. Determines consistency of those documents with state statutes, regional water supply plans and other District programs.

Additional responsibilities include: providing technical assistance and coordination for comprehensive planning, including Water Supply Facilities Work Plans (Work Plans); providing program management; and managing special projects and other assignments.

Experience in working with local governments and regulatory agencies; familiarity with utilities and local governments in the SFWMD region; and experience in working in a team environment.
