This employee functions as Manager of the Neighborhood & Housing Division in all aspects of supervision and administration of the neighborhood services provided to the City. Under administrative direction, employees in this classification perform at professional management level, and are responsible for neighborhood programs, affordable housing initiatives and grants, such as Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership (HOME), Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), State Housing Initiative Program (SHIP), and Residential Construction Mitigation Program (RCMP). Prepares reports and acts as representative to regional agencies, and to various City boards and committees, such as Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, Neighborhoods with Integrity, and Slice of Springs.
