Senior Planner

The Monroe County Florida Planning and Environmental Resources Department is searching for individuals to help foster sustainable, quality development in the County while conserving and promoting stewardship of the Florida Keys' fragile environment and the unique character of its diverse island communities.

Senior Planner: 40 hpw/$64,447.15+ DOQ.  Marathon. Strong background in permit plan review and development application review required to ensure compliance with land development code and Comprehensive Plan. Assists with data gathering and other technical services for long range and strategic planning projects and in the processing of complex current planning projects, training and advising entry level planners, and completes special projects as needed. AICP Preferred.
