An advanced professional position in land use planning with the City of Tallahassee’s Growth Management Department. This position facilitates the review of land development projects. The incumbent is expected to conduct site plan reviews and ensure plans are consistent with Land Development Code, evaluate land development regulations, work with developers, business owners, and members of the community to integrate developments within the community, coordinate responses to citizens and elected officials, and present final work product in writing or verbally.  In addition, this position may conduct environmental assessments, ecological and cultural resource research, and/or assist with other developing programs and city initiatives.
