Performs professional and technical work related to a variety of routine planning assignments for the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea (LBTS).  Work involves fulfilling zoning requests and processing development applications. Conducts studies and field research to support planning and development initiatives.   Interacts frequently with the public throughout the course of performing job tasks.
Work is performed under direction with considerable latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgement. Position seeks technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
