Planning & Zoning Analyst

Under the general supervision of the Planning & Zoning Director, this position will be responsible for monitoring development applications, attending advisory board meetings and researching zoning issues.  Employees in this classification process, monitor and reviewing applications; conduct on-site inspections for zoning regulations; as well as, perform advanced analytical work such as researching and interpreting land development regulations.  

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to urban planning, development or public administration; supplemented by minimum one (1) year of experience with a municipal or County government; or the City may consider an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
