Position Statement
I am honored to be considered for the office of Vice President for Membership and Outreach Services for APA Florida Chapter. I know what it is like to be a member of APA and AICP. APA Florida Chapter has been very good to me, allowing me to serve most recently as Vice President for Section Affairs as well as Chair of the Promised Lands Section in Southwest Florida. With my six years of experience on APA Florida's Executive Committee, I will hit the ground running and will continue to be an effective leader of this organization. I am more than ready and able to be your voice in APA. I will work hard for our Florida members so they can get the most from their membership in APA. We pay the dues, we do the work, and we care about planning as a profession. We should honestly get more for what we put into APA. We also must do better to retain loyal members and to attract new members from diverse walks of life to APA Florida. APA Florida is a great organization. I will listen to you, work hard for you, and do my best to make APA Florida even better. Thank you for your support in the past and I look forward to serving you in the future.
