Position Statement:

My name is Cathy Koval, and I am running for Secretary of the APA Florida Executive Committee. Since becoming active with the First Coast Section, I have served as the Vice Chair of our board, responsible for our programs and event coordination, and I had the fantastic opportunity to serve as co-chair on the host committee for last year’s Florida Planning Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. As a planner, I am passionate about fostering professional growth and collaboration within the planning community and encouraging local planners to get involved in change in Jacksonville. As the Executive Committee Secretary, I hope to find ways to apply my passion for community and continue to foster connections with planners around the state.
