APA Florida Welcomes New Executive Director Stefanie Svisco

The APA Florida Executive Committee is pleased to welcome Stefanie Svisco as its new Executive Director.

Stefanie comes to APA Florida from The Florida Bar, where she worked as a Program Administrator for The Business Law Section, overseeing the section’s fundraising, conference and event planning, and member activity campaigns. She will begin administering the 3,000-member APA Florida from its Tallahassee chapter office on Jan. 1.

“The executive director search committee was impressed with Stefanie’s energy and enthusiasm,” APA Florida President Wiatt Bowers said. “We are excited about the creativity she will bring to the role and the opportunities that may present themselves in the years ahead.”

“I am looking forward to serving an organization that is active in improving our communities and the lives in them,” Stefanie said. “Making a positive impact in the lives of others is near to my heart. I am excited and honored to start working alongside those that work tirelessly to enhance the quality of life and sense of community for all Floridians.

Stefanie is active in the local theater community, acting in and directing musicals for Theatre Tallahassee and Quincy Music Theater. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Wright State University (Dayton, Ohio).

Stefanie and her husband, Joe, share their home with their fur babies, a cat, Simba, and a dog, Clover. They reside in Tallahassee.
