Florida Disaster Fund Grants Application Now Open

Volunteer Florida Foundation has opened new opportunity to apply for funding through the 2020-21 Florida Disaster Fund, which provides financial assistance to qualifying organizations meeting disaster-caused needs in Florida with a focus on support for disaster response and long-term recovery activities.

Available funds will be approximately $4 million for Hurricane Irma and $3 million for Hurricane Michael.

Volunteer Florida Foundation requires that proposals be submitted through an online system called Blackbaud that can be found here.  

Proposals must be submitted through the Blackbaud system no later than Friday, March 27, 2020 at 5 pm ET. Proposals submitted after this deadline or by any other means will not be considered for funding.
