GROWTH MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR

Plans, organizes and directs the operations and activities of the Growth Management Department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Training, and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering or closely related field; supplemented by a minimum of eight (8) years progressively responsible experience in professional planning, growth management, land development codes, building codes and code enforcement; five (5) years of which shall be in a supervisory/management capacity, to include fiscal management experience, preferably for a municipal or institutional organization. Master’s degree strongly preferred and substitutes for a portion of the required experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.  

Licenses and/or Certifications: Requires a valid driver license
