Hours: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday

Other: THIS IS A GRANT-FUNDED POSITION.

Assists with project development and monitoring for economic and County target industry enhancement. Prospects for grant opportunities; assists with grant applications and implementation including statistical analysis and written reports. Assists with development of goals, objectives and metrics for tracking project performance. Requires knowledge of fiscal and economic impact analyses, and comprehensive long- and short-range planning.  Researches, organizes and analyzes information to formulate recommendations for projects, and produces and presents reports and maps.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Urban/Regional Planning, Geography, Public/Business Administration; minimum of two (2) years of professional-level planning experience in the areas of community development/policy/procedure development. Equivalencies: Related Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related experience OR unrelated Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of related experience.

PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE WITH:

Administration of federal/state/local economic development funding programs; brownfield assessment/clean-up; advanced MS Excel data analysis (must specify on application).
