The City of Milton is seeking a Planning and Development Director. This position is responsible for coordinating and enforcing the City's comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations. The employee is also responsible for coordinating the City's grant efforts, monitoring grant funds, serving as the City's Community Development and Downtown Redevelopment Coordinator and conducting special research projects as directed by the City Manager. This is a highly responsible supervisory position as the Director of the Planning Department and staff.

Basic Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with a major in Community Development, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Urban Design, or a closely related field. Four + years of related experience in the appropriate field. Possession of the AICP certification preferred or eligible to obtain certification.

Salary Range $60,000-$80,000 contract/exempt employee
