Applicants for AICP College of Fellows
Are you making an impact through your work and leading a career of distinction? Are you helping to create lasting change to improve the lives of people and the health of our communities? Is your career worthy of recognition for the leadership, community service, passion and innovation you bring to your role and each project you undertake? Then you should consider induction into the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners (FAICP).
The American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) is now opening the 2026 Call for Nominations for induction to the College of Fellows, which recognizes dedicated, outstanding leaders of the planning profession every two years. July 31, 2025 is the deadline for submittal of a completed nomination package. Check out the minimum eligibility requirements and the application process here.
We are seeking your interest in becoming a Chapter Nominee! APA Florida will endorse and provide mentorship and support for selected eligible applicants. If you believe your professional planning accomplishments and outcomes warrant induction into the prestigious College of Fellows, we invite you to express your interest, seek a consultation, or request a mentor to assist with your consideration of this distinctive credential.
AICP Fellows are recognized for their positive transformative change in communities or institutions over time. Earning the FAICP credential is a clear indicator of a planner’s exemplary leadership, skill, expertise, and commitment to achieving a community’s desired outcomes. We want to identify and celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of planners who set the standard for professional service.
For me, becoming a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners goes beyond a title — it represents a planner’s unwavering dedication to the communities they serve. It shows a genuine passion for the work and a deep commitment to seeing every plan through to completion. This level of dedication is what I aspire to, and it's why I seek to collaborate with Fellows — professionals who are truly driven to make a meaningful and lasting impact through their work." ~ Nickolas Hill, AICP
